Installation of Energy Saving Items Project - Energy Saving & Emission Reduction. We can do it!

Funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund established by the HKSAR Government – Environment Education and Community Action Projects (General and Minor Works Project), our school has replaced all T8 fluorescent tubes with T5 Fluorescent Tubes which are more energy efficient. This can reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, and the greenhouse and urban heat island effects. The replacement of the mercury-made T8 Fluorescent Tubes can also reduce the damage and pollution to the environment.

The installation was started in April, 2014 and was completed before the start of the new school year. We would like to express our deep appreciation to the Environment and Conservation Fund and the Environmental Campaign Committee for enabling us to have a greener campus.

To enhance students' awareness and knowledge of environmental issue, the following measures are carried out:

3.	Decorating the classroom bulletin boards with related themes (Finished)
4.	Organizing talks about environmental conservation (Finished)
5.	Energy Saving Charter (Finished)
