  1. Curriculum Aim
  2. The overall aims of the Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS) curriculum are:

    • to provide students at senior secondary level with fundamental business knowledge and skills, and develop their positive values and attitudes, so that they can fulfil their roles competently and confidently as consumers, investors, employees and/or entrepreneurs;
    • to develop students’ generic skills in research, analysis, leadership, team-building, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving and transfer them to different domains; and
    • to explore different aspects of business to prepare students for life, for learning and for employment.

  5. Public examination
  • Paper 1 (Total 90 marks)
    There will be two sections in this paper: Section A (60 marks) will consist of multiple choice questions and Section B (30 marks) short questions. Questions will be set on the compulsory part of the curriculum. All questions are compulsory.
  • Paper 2
    Candidates will attempt Paper 2A (Accounting module)
    Questions will be set on the respective module of the elective part of the curriculum. Candidates are, however, expected to integrate their knowledge and skills learnt in the compulsory part to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the module.
